Totally amazing concert!
I have anticipated this concert since 1992, longing to see Sommore for two decades. The most amazing concert I could have ever imagined was to see the 2 of them together. What more could one ask for? Lee Ann Womack opening for them at The Palace was over the top with the energy they generated. The lighting effects really set the mood for each song they played, not too much and not too little, just right. They did an outstanding job at performing some of their older songs, not only their new material. Just before the concert began, I was told of an opportunity for the fans to meet Reba. I wanted to make sure we signed up for a chance to meet her since my girlfriend is such a fan. I was just as excited for a chance to meet her this time, as I didn't get to meet Reba in '92. We were chosen from the thousands of fans there, a surprise to us both. During Reba's performance, my girlfriend's phone rang, and she was told she had won a Meet and Greet with Reba. She idolizes Reba, so I was so happy for her. When she returned with an additional pass for me, I have never been so elated. When we finally met Reba, the chance I missed in '92 finally came, and I made it a point to thank her for her support of our troops. Reba is the kindest, sweetest, most talented woman I have ever met. Thank you to WYCD for providing me with the opportunity to show my gratitude to a wonderful performer. Thank you to Reba, Sommore, and Lee Ann for putting on an amazing, heartfelt show. Thank you to my girlfriend for taking me on this long-awaited journey and for taking me along to meet one of my favorite artists. Thank God for giving us the opportunity to share in this amazing once-in-a-lifetime event. Praise be to Him!
